A Film on Sania Mirza's Controversial Marriage Upsets Her

Few days before, a popular tabloid published the news of a film 'Hyderabadi Damaad', which was based on the controversial marriage of Indian ace tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.
Sania's marriage was already caught into various controversies and this news added one more, which moved her towards disappoint. She was extremely distressed.
"I was surprised to read in newspapers that a director is making a film on me and my marriage. I think that a commercial movie based on my personal life is hardly relevant, but I hope that the concerned director will make it clear to his viewers that the film is merely a fictional account based on his imagination.
It is intriguing that I haven't even been approached (by the filmmakers) regarding this. Very few people in the world would know the real Sania Mirza. It's a shame if the director is relying on distorted information he's picked up through inaccurate media coverage," said Sania.
Sania is upset because the filmmaker neither informed nor taken her permission for scripting theme of the film. 'Hyderabadi Damaad' is being directed by Jaiprakash (Market) and produced by PD Garg. The star cast of the film includes leading TV stars Amar Upadhyay, Ali Merchant and Debina Bonerjee. Debina will play Sania Mirza. The film is also supposed to showcase Sania's breaking of engagement with childhood friend Sohrab Mirza.
Sania Mirza has always been surrounded by various controversies. No wonder if she is caught again in a new controversy.
